Sometimes the best solution for a user is the second best solution in the eyes of the professional. It is ultimately the user who will decide to use a product or not, as they will be the one who has to live with the consequences of their decision. It is the responsibility of the professional to ensure that the user is aware of all of their options and all of the potential consequences of each of the options. Forcing a user to take a product that they are not interested in may result in the product not getting used, the user looking for the product to fail, or sabotaging the product.
