In developing countries like my country it is difficult for wheelchair user to get apropriate wheel chair, because there is shortage of both wheelchairs and wheel chair proffesionals.

Hello – the situation that you express is common to many low and middle-income settings. How have professionals being trained so far? Where do you get the wheelchairs from? One idea could be to explore if there are opportunities through ISWP or other collaborators to understand with you the context where you are and propose solutions to build the local capacity. Please refer to ISWP training calendar to explore if there are training opportunities next to you.

In addition, other global projects like clasphub.org aims to facilitating the procurement of appropriate wheelchairs and has local service partners in different countries. You may want to explore if there is one close to you.
