In general, the right to join the Capital One friend referral program is given exclusively to Capital One cardholders and allowed only those people who have received an invitation to become participants of the program. These invitations may go out in a limited number to selected cardholders; the card issuer’s decisions may be based on the account status and credit worthiness of the card holder. Further, the friends that the referrer introduces must also qualify to be approved for this card by Capital One so that the referrer can earn the reward.
