As wheelchair professionals we must strive to conduct a user-centered provision process whether the user comes to the center or we travel to conduct an evaluation in the community. Unless the social worker that took the measurements was trained in appropriate wheelchair provision, it is likely that we won’t be able to select an appropriate product based on the measurements taken. If the social worker is able to get to the very far places, consider training her/him so the appropriate assessment and corresponding documentation can be conducted.
