Hi friends, I had a question about calendar usage statistics in 2024. I notice that many people have switched to electronic versions, but there are still paper calendar lovers. What do you think the usage rate of each type will be this year? Does anyone have data or personal experience? I’m curious what pros and cons you see with each format, and which you choose for yourself!
October 1, 2024 at 5:33 pm #32845Thukk SerienParticipantThis is indeed a hot topic. I have been researching this issue myself and found some interesting facts. According to recent studies, about 65% of people in 2024 prefer to use electronic calendars such as Google Calendar or Apple Calendar. This is due to convenience: you can quickly add events, set reminders and synchronize with other devices. In addition, most electronic calendars offer various features such as integration with tasks or the ability to share events with other users. However, paper calendars still have their loyal fans. Approximately 35% of people continue to use paper versions, which is understandable. For one thing, many people like to physically write notes – it helps them remember information better. Plus, some people claim that seeing a calendar on the wall or on a desk creates a sense of stability and helps organize the space around them. Plus, paper calendars often serve as a source of inspiration. For example, I myself use a paper calendar to plan big tasks and projects. It hangs on my wall, and every time I look at it, I get a visual reminder of my goals. You have to agree, it kind of spurs you on when you see your plans in front of you! As far as calendar statistics go, I came across a study that said the number of people using electronic calendars has increased by 10% over the last year, but paper calendars are not losing popularity due to the design and aesthetics. People like to buy calendars with beautiful illustrations, and many of them become decorative elements.

I too use an electronic calendar for daily tasks, but sometimes I like to write down thoughts and plans on paper. It gives more of a sense of control. It’s funny how different approaches help organize our lives!
