Recently I wanted to show my family old photos from my phone on a big screen. We had a Chromecast, and I thought it was simple: open the photo and send it to the TV. But it wasn’t that simple — half of the images wouldn’t load. I had to go into the settings and figure it out. Maybe someone knows proven ways to do this faster? Here’s a way to cast iPhone to Firestick, but I’d be glad to hear your experience.

I had a similar story when I wanted to have a family reminiscence night. The photos seemed to be loading, but the videos categorically refused to play. An app that specifically supports media streaming helped. Another tip – make sure both devices are connected to the same network, otherwise it won’t work. And the link you mentioned is really useful, I came across it myself when looking for a solution.

Photos on the big screen are definitely a cool idea. I love how technology brings family and friends together, reminiscing about old moments. Although I mostly use Chromecast for movies, I hadn’t really thought about photos. I’ll have to try that!
