http://www.desserve.net offers an online assessment platform that also grants wheelchair users realtime access to wheelchair service Provision. This is a different approach that my team has adopted to deliver service more efficiently in our local communities across Nigeria.
I have a question of what are the measures in place for ensuring durable wheelchair manufactured fit for the harsh and rugged conditions of the African terrains? We have encountered severally cases of users from disabled sport organizations returned their WM4 within a space of 6 months on the note that they aren’t durable.

Hi – thank you for sharing the online assessment platform. We’ve come across a similar initiative in Israel https://www.atvisor.ai/en/product/

Currently ISWP is developing wheelchair testing to simulate rugged conditions. You can see the standards here: http://wheelprogress.org/wheelchair-test-methods/

Another consideration is to provide the feedback from to users directly to the manufacturer/designer. In this way, they can make informed improvements so their products can meet the needs from the users.
